脂肪細胞（アディポサイト）由来の脂質が、HIF-αの発現増加を介してがん細胞の遊走を引き起こしているのではないかということをチップとマウスの実験で解析されております。
がんで重要な現象をチップで再現されている研究成果です。

Adipocyte-derived lipids showed driving force function for cancer cell migrations through upregulation of HIF-alpha which is an important gene in glycolysis.
These phenomena were confirmed in both an on-chip technology and mouse model! Very cool!
